ABOUT SI DATU BUA
Meaning “Beloved Princess”, Si Datu Bua is one of the finest examples of a traditional Indonesian phinisi yacht, meticulously crafted by the Konjo boatbuilders of Sulawesi and designed by Seery Yacht Design. Commissioned by Silolona Sojourns, she embodies the seamless blend of time-honoured craftsmanship and modern luxury.
Carrying just 6 guests across three spacious suites, Si Datu Bua is designed for families or small groups seeking intimate voyages through the Indonesian archipelago. From the remote islands of Raja Ampat to the iconic landscapes of Komodo, her journeys combine cultural immersion, barefoot luxury, and exceptional service delivered by an experienced 12-member crew, including an expedition leader, dive instructor, and private chef.
With interiors adorned in authentic Indonesian art and textiles, expansive decks for dining and lounging, and a reputation for personalised hospitality, Si Datu Bua offers more than a charter — she is a gateway to discovery, cultural richness, and absolute comfort.
As the sister yacht to the renowned Silolona, she carries the same legacy of craftsmanship and luxury in a more intimate scale.
