ABOUT KUDANIL EXPLORER

The Kudanil Explorer is a 50 metre long luxury expedition vessel that will take you diving, surfing and exploring the most magical and unknown parts of the Indonesian archipelago. With eight spacious cabins, luxurious communal areas, and a dedicated crew of 19, Kudanil Explorer defines adventure filled luxury, blending expedition style comfort, refinement, and safety.

Built for luxury expedition
Launched originally in 1978 as a safety standby vessel for the oil industry, Kudanil Explorer has been totally reimagined by the owner Remi Epstein into a pinnacle of luxury expedition yachting. Epstein’s visionary transformation has birthed a vessel that merges industrial strength with opulent comfort, promising discerning travelers unparalleled adventures across Indonesia’s remote landscapes.

The vessel underwent a meticulous conversion, helmed by seasoned professionals like British naval architect Simon Jupe and French project manager Bertrand d’Alencon. The result is a stunning amalgamation of elegance and functionality, boasting four decks and eight cabins spanning 11,000 square feet of guest areas adorned with tropical-inspired interiors.

Thibaud Epstein, the nephew of the owner, leads the charter expeditions and invites travelers and adventurers to explore remote Indonesian realms in unparalleled comfort and safety. Epstein’s dedication to crafting exceptional experiences extends to the vessel’s seasoned crew of 21, including the esteemed Captain Wayan. Bespoke expeditions range from surfing and diving escapades to enriching cultural excursions.
